Junior Entrepreneurs

5th and 6th class children will be taking part in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme.  This project provides the children with the opportunity to experience practical, real life business learning as part of their formative education.  Running over a 12-16 week period during the school year, JEP nurtures creativity, independence and problem solving among pupils of all abilities.  Under their teachers guidance, and with the inspiration of participating local entrepreneurs, your child and their classmates will discover their strengths as individuals and as part of a team.  Together, they'll choose, develop and produce their own product from scratch. The finished products will be available for sale at a school event later in the year.  Each child will receive an official certificate recognising and commemorating their learning and practical involvement in the programme.

6th class showcased their products at the school hall on Friday 24th of March.

As part of their programme the students had to invite a business visitor to their classroom. They decided to invite our local furniture maker Mr Joe Devaney who along with Mr Darren Gavin own and run "Inspired Designs"
